What We Do
In simple terms, TAH makes products in various shapes and
sizes that are used to mix and blend liquids and semi-solids. This is
particulary useful for adhesive and sealant materials that, when mixed
together, quickly bond or harden so that keeping them separate
until used is important. Learn more about adhesives
and sealant uses.
Cartridge
Systems
The cartridges holds two reactive
materials separately. A dispensing
tool or gun pushes the cartridge chambers forward and through
a static mixer. Our cartridges chambers
are designed to move forward simultaneously, thus, creating
a perfectly balanced mix. Our plastic cartridge systems are manufactured
by injection
molding and are usually designated for one-time-use.
Example: A dentist uses a small
cartridge filled with a two-part mixture to make an impression.
This two-part material is dispensed through a mixer into
a plate and an impression hardens to form the shape of your teeth.
Cartridge systems are also used to dispense adhesives and
sealants such as a two-part epoxy for repairing household items. Meter
Mix Systems
Meter Mix systems
are designed for high-volume dispensing using a meter-mix valve
and static mixer. These systems are used in industrial and manufacturing
settings to dispense large amounts of two-part materials or for repetitive
motion applications.
Example: A
valve and static mixer can be mounted on the arm of a robot at an auto
manufacturer assembly line to to dispense adhesives
used to fasten trim to a car. Static
Mixers
Our static mixers are designed to combine two liquids or semi-solids with no
moving parts. We manufacture our own patented spiral and square core mixers which
range from small, disposable, plastic to large, stainless steel mixers. Learn
more about static mixers.
CPI
Mixers
Chemical Processing Mixers (CPI) are inline, stationary
mixers that liquid is passed through for blending and dispersion.
These mixers are often used in food, cosmetics industries and wasterwater
treatment.
Example: A
stainless steel inline mixer could be used in a manufacturing
facility to blend polymer into wastewater in order to bind semi-solids
making them easier to separate when reclaiming water.
